Occupy Wall St: Biblical or Unbiblical?

Before I answer the question proposed in the title, let me give you a quick glimpse into the movement called “Occupy Wall Street.”

On or around September 17th, 2011, hundreds of protesters gathered on Wall St. in Manhattan to stand against the unfair policies of our government and politicians.

Since then, thousands have rallied and the movement has quickly spread into various cities throughout the United States. With famous politicians, actors, actresses and many of society’s finest stepping out into the action to give their two cents, the movement has gotten international attention, and if nothing else, has made their voice heard.

“If Christ is really king, exercising original and immediate jurisdiction over the State as really as he does over the church, it follows necessarily that the general denial or neglect of his rightful lordship, any prevalent refusal to obey that Bible which is the open law-book of his kingdom, must be followed by political and social as well as moral and religious ruin.

If professing Christians are unfaithful to the authority of their Lord in their capacity as citizens of the State, they cannot expect to be blessed by the indwelling of the Holy Ghost in their capacity as members of the church. The kingdom of Christ is one, and cannot be divided in life or in death. If the Church languishes, the State cannot be in health; and if the State rebels against its Lord and King, the Church cannot enjoy his favour.

If the Holy Ghost is withdrawn from the Church, he is not present in the State; and if he, the only “Lord, the Giver of life” be absent, then all order is impossible, and the elements of society lapse backward to primeval night and chaos . . . I charge you, citizens of the United States, afloat on your wide sea of politics, there is another king, one Jesus: the safety of the State can be secured only in the way of humble and whole-souled loyalty to His person and of obedience to His Law.”

Operation Freedom Update and Live Call

Quick update on Operation Freedom:

For one, we just released a basic written overview of the goals, vision, ect, right here.

Secondly, we are planning a live call next Thursday, August 25 at 12 noon eastern time, to discuss Phase I of the project which is recruiting and mobilizing street preachers and evangelists for local an national events.

I will cover the whole vision, answer questions and discuss how you can get involved.

The call information will be sent at the beginning of next week, but if you plan on being on the call, please set aside the day and time.

Attention Street Preachers

In case you haven’t noticed, our nation is sinking faster and faster into the depths of depravity, particularly in the area of our nation’s government. It’s no secret that many of their decisions in the past have been in direct opposition to God’s laws and the gospel. However, in the recent months, it seems to have gotten worse.

We’ve seen ungodly, tyrannical and unconstitutional decisions in the areas of abortion, the definition of marriage, inappropriate involvement of the civil government in churches, family and personal lives of individuals (BIG government), homosexuality, over taxation, fiscal dishonesty, national debt, exaltation of pagan ideology, squashing freedom of speech, the removal of parental rights and the list goes on an on.

As a result our God is mocked, our God-given freedoms and blessings are being taken away and our nation is headed towards complete fiscal, physical and spiritual ruin.

With all the said, Go Stand Speak & JeremiahCry Ministries is looking for street preachers who are willing to become a part of a brand new “operation” to stand against ungodly, tyrannically government, throughout the nation, with the Gospel of the Kingdom, on a wide, united scale.

The first aspect of this project, which is why I am sending this message, is to recruit like minded street preachers throughout the USA that are willing to strategically preach the gospel in specific locations, with a reformational message, particularly up until the 2012 Presidential Election. More details will be available soon, but this is the gist of the project.

We will be launching a new portal for this project within a week or so. In the meantime, if you’re a street preacher, you’re fed up with America’s tyrannical, ungodly government, you’re seeking reformation and you would like to see our nation reclaimed for Christ, please pray about joining this project.
