Jeff Rose from JeremiahCry Ministries preaching on the day of the Kermit Gosnell Verdict.
Pat Necerato will be speaking at the following event:

“Is it Biblical to be Patriotic?” Read it here.
Not sure if you noticed (maybe it’s just me), but lately the topics of “patriotism” and “restoring our nation back to a godly foundation” have been hot within the Christian community.
Typically, when you mention these topics you will hear a variety of responses. A few may call you a nationalist. Others may think you’re a time waster. Some may charge you with being worldly, foolish, unwise or even heretically deceived.
Mention it to others and perhaps be congratulated, patted on the back, encouraged and of even in some circles, be viewed as part of the theologically elite.
Regardless of where you stand on the issue, all of these statements beg the following question(s): Historically and theologically, is patriotism and caring about your national identity a godly, worthwhile endeavor? Should Christians be patriotic? Were our founders really Christians and if so, should this inspire us to “restore our nation” back to their original vision?
It’s because of these questions, varying opinions (and misconceptions) that we released the article. Enjoy!

Well, here we are, Christians sitting as frogs in the proverbial pot of boiling water. And now after years of seeing the bubbles, we’re finally starting to believe and feel the heat. Will we finally leap out into the fight, or continue to get cooked in boiling apathy?
Rather than discuss the role of Christians in politics, that all things are inherently religious, when/why we should exercise civil disobedience or debate about theological escapism verses engaging the culture with biblical solutions to the world’s problems, I will instead focus on an area I think we can all agree on (or at least most of us): sinning against God and our obligation to avoid it.

If there was ever a time for Christ honoring, biblically faithful street preaching, now is the time.
Case in point:
This November, the people of Minnesota will be asked to decide whether the state Constitution should define marriage as being between one man and one woman. This amendment, if passed, would limit the freedom to marry for gay and lesbian couples in Minnesota. My question to you is…why would a Pastor of one of the largest congregation’s in that state refrain from telling his flock to vote against this legislation?
Answer: It’s not his job. Or so he says.
Here’s a quote from well known Pastor, John Piper on why he did not urge his Minneapolis church congregation to vote “no” against this bill. Piper said to reporters, “Don’t press the organization of the church or her pastors into political activism.”
Piper said during his sermon, posted on Bethlehem Baptist Church’s website. “Expect from your shepherds not that they would rally you behind political candidates or legislative mandates, but they would point you over and over again to God and to his word.”

Kirk Cameron’s upcoming visit to Ocean Grove is getting criticized by pro-homosexual advocates calling him someone who is spreading “hate” and “hate speech”.
In March, Kirk told Piers Morgan on his CNN TV show that he believes homosexuality is “unnatural” and “destructive to many of the foundations of civilization.”
In a recent Asbury Park Press article, it stated that an Ocean Grove-based “human rights” organization now wants the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association to disinvite Cameron from two speaking engagements at the Great Auditorium this July.
Randy Bishop, the mayor of Neptune Township, which Ocean Grove is a part of is also standing against Kirk’s appearance and presentation on biblical values and traditional marriage and it’s importance to the foundation of society. (Randy is an open homosexual.)
If you’re a NJ resident especially, I encourage you to please take a second and write the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association in support of biblical marriage and Kirk’s appearance. You can do this at http://oceangrove.org/
Please explain to them that being anti same-sex marriage or anti-homosexual is not preaching hate, he’s simply stating that according to the bible, homosexuality is wrong (not to mention exercising free speech).
Also, for a “human rights” organization to claim something is “wrong” or “right” implies some sort of standard to judge by. Their judgment against pro-marriage advocates is biased to a arbitrary standard of morality and not the Christian standard, which is the law of God.
I think anyone would agree that making something that is immoral a human right is unjust and unlawful, to both God and society. Pro-marriage advocates (like Kirk) are simply stating according to the ultimate standard of truth (what God says and not what humans say) homosexuality is immoral and cannot be supported or endorsed by Christians if they want to honor the Word of God.
This bill prohibits home-schooling of children under DYFS care, custody, or supervision without DYFS approval. In this video, Carolee Adams from EagleForum.com and Pat Necerato from Go Stand Speak Ministries refute the bill calling it unconstitutional, unbiblical and self defeating. In addition, the bill forces children into the public school system which is not only dangerous (according to violent crime statistics) but also imposes a secular humanistic religion onto children without parent approval.

To say I’m extremely excited about the message in this documentary is an understatement. I thought it was phenomenal.
For a couple reasons…
For one, the historical content was fantastic. The whole explanation of the “National Monument to the Forefathers” (or Pilgrim Monument) given by Dr. Marshall Foster revealed the biblical significance of each little detail in chilling explanation. (The Pilgrims engraved such things as Freedom, Tyranny Overthrown, Peace, Morality, Prophet, Evangelist, Law, Justice, Mercy, Education and Faith-the foundation of it all- with a sculpted figure to represent each one. Foster interpreted how each one related to their quest for a free society ruled by God. Amazing!)
A perfect picture of what a small group of people can do when they trust the Lord and persevere.
Two, (and why I’m jacked about this film for any other reason,) is the biblical worldview and underlying theology that Kirk expresses throughout.
The worldview conveyed in this film is highly optimistic to say the least. Say goodbye to the “get me outta here gospel of retreat” for sure. Say goodbye to “God’s law isn’t relevant for society anymore”. Say goodbye to the misunderstanding of “separation of church and state”. Whew…tough but important topics and misconceptions that have attributed greatly (in my opinion) to America’s moral, spiritual, and financial downfall over the years. (“But who cares about the world anyway, right? It’s a sinking ship.” Not in this documentary.)
I thank the Lord for Kirk’s boldness in sharing the ever so unpopular message of Christ ruling over all of life; family, civil, and personal (and everything in between), where His law is the ultimate standard and nothing else.
With all that said…I highly recommend that you make the time to see this film this weekend and support this work:

If America (and the world for that matter) can grasp the Kingship of Christ in the way that Kirk presented in this film, I believe God will do what He did through all of history when His remnant of people were faithful – give major victory against all odds and adversaries.

SPEAKING OUT AGAINST “GAY MARRIAGE” DECLARING THAT A VOTE FOR THIS BILL WILL BE A VOTE AGAINST GOD.
JEREMIAHCRY MINISTRIES teamed up with GO STAND SPEAK MINISTRIES FOR A DAY AT THE SENATE HEARING in Trenton New Jersey on the account of a bill being passed to allow Homosexuals the right to be legally married.
We had a neat opportunity to have our “Occupy Wall Street” ministry featured yesterday on a program called “Focal Point with Brian Fischer” from American Family Radio. If you get a chance, take a listen:http://www.afa.net/FocalPoint/ (Click on “Hope for Occupy Wall St.”)
Please keep us in prayer as we go this week as well, and for more Christians to get involved in this situation.
Is there a standard for voting? How can we be sure to vote in a God honoring, biblical way? Brand new website and video reveals how to vote biblically in the 2012 Presidential Election. www.votebiblical.com and compare the 2012 Presidential Candidates.
Here are some highlights of our visit to the Occupy Wall St. protests. It got a little hostile at some points but overall everything was well received with many great conversations after each preaching time. We focused on what the bible says about some of the glaring issues, also preached the Gospel and God’s law as the ultimate standard for government, politics, the economy and all areas of life.
The “Operation Freedom” team was supposed to join some brothers in Washington DC this weekend, but we were not able to make the three day trip down to DC.
We are instead, visiting NYC tomorrow, Saturday October 15th, 2011. If you live in the NY area, and you’d like to join us, we will be visiting the “Occupy Wall Street” protests in Manhattan tomorrow from around 12 noon to 4 pm, to preach the gospel. (If you are interested or you have any questions, please reply to this email.)
In a nutshell, here are our intentions and focus in going to the “Occupy Wall Street” protests:
1. To stand against the communist/socialist/liberal spirit of theft and idolatry and to lay out God’s law/views on these issues.
( To ask the protesters, “What would God say about the views behind Occupy Wall Street?” There are some good things about it, anti-big government for example, but many dangerous views being promoted as well that clearly violate God’s law. Much of what is being protested is anti-Christian in nature and promotes unbiblical policies for our nation.)
2. To call people to turn to God, repent and believe the gospel.
3. To expose the sins of our nation: to show biblically why God could be slowly turning us over to more and more tyranny within the government, among other things, due to the shedding of innocent blood and the support of homosexual marriage to name a few. To show the way of forgiveness and restoration, through the cross of Jesus Christ.
4. To proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ as the only path to true liberty, personally and politically.
Again, if you would like to join us, please email me by replying to this email. To learn more about “Operation Freedom”, go to www.gostandspeak.com.
Prayerfully in Christ,
Pat Necerato
